Organizing with Folders
Last updated: Mar 2026
Folders let you organize workflows into named groups, just like a file system. Folders appear inline in the workflows table — click one to open it. A breadcrumb at the top of the table shows your current location and lets you navigate back up.
Creating Folders
Click New folder in the toolbar to open the creation dialog. Enter a name (up to 100 characters) and optionally pick a color for the folder icon. The new folder appears immediately as a row in the table.
If you are already inside a folder, the new folder is automatically created as a child of the current location. You can nest folders to any depth.
Moving Workflows
To move a single workflow into a folder, use the Move to Folder action in the workflow row:
- Find the workflow in the table.
- Click the folder arrow icon in the Actions column.
- Select the destination folder, or choose All workflows to move it back to root.
- Click Move here.
Bulk Move
You can move multiple workflows and folders at once using bulk selection:
- Check the checkboxes next to any combination of workflows and folders you want to move.
- Click Move N items in the toolbar.
- Select a destination folder, or choose All workflows for root.
- Click Move N items here and watch the progress bar.
Each item is moved sequentially and the progress bar updates in real time. Any items that fail are listed so you can retry them individually.
Sub-folders
Folders can be nested to any depth. Navigate into a folder and click New folder — it will automatically be created as a child of the current folder.
The breadcrumb shows the full path, so you always know where you are regardless of how deeply nested your structure is.
Renaming & Deleting
Each folder row has two action buttons always visible on the right side:
- Edit (pencil icon) — opens the Edit folder dialog where you can change the folder name and its icon color. Choose from the full color palette or reset to the random auto-assigned color.
- Delete (trash icon) — removes the folder and all of its sub-folders. Any workflows inside the deleted folders are automatically moved to root so no data is lost.
You can also delete multiple folders at once by selecting them with the checkboxes and clicking Delete N folders in the toolbar.
